The long established survey department based in Houghton le Spring covers most of the North East, and is headed by Mark Fife, FRICS. Our very experienced team carries out a range of professional services including property valuations and home surveys. All are carried out in accordance with RICS Guidelines and our fully qualified Surveyors are all RICS registered valuers.

Property Valuations

Property valuations are required for a number of reasons. Kimmitt and Roberts are able to provide swift, efficient and accurate commercial and residential property valuations for a variety of purposes as follows:

Kimmitt and Roberts provide a comprehensive range of commercial surveys for sale, purchase, rent, lease etc, as well as dilapidations. Home Surveys

Kimmitt and Roberts provide three main levels of surveys for residential property starting with the more basic Valuation report at level 1 to the more comprehensive Building Survey at level 3. The Homebuyers report which is a level 2 survey is the most common choice of survey.

The most suitable survey will depend upon the condition and age of the property, as well as your own requirements and expectations.

  • Valuation fees from £165 plus VAT
  • RICS Homebuyers reports (level 2 Survey) from £290 plus VAT
  • Building Surveys (level 3 Survey) from £570 plus VAT
